The Consulting unit places INBio’s experience and knowledge at the disposal of the national and international community, through the sale of consulting services suited to the particular needs and interests of each interested organization. In this way, INBio supports conservation efforts and the sustainable use of biodiversity resources.

The main subject areas offered by the institution include: biological inventories, bioprospecting, ecotourism, biological information systems, environmental education, conservation, environmental services, economic evaluation and institutional strengthening. Some services are offered through alliances with national and regional institutions and organizations, depending on the subject.
